Ability to professionally interact with customers on technical matters
2+ years of experience with engineering degree (Applications Engineer)':
Able to quickly learn products in detail which includes the operating principles and performance characteristics.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
The work is predominantly sedentary and requires minimal or negligible physical exertion.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent relevant education and work experience.
Highly organized and efficient in approaching tasks
Clear, concise, and articulate communication skills - verbal, written and listening
A self-starter with ability to solve problems and anticipate and avoid issues
Travel: Limited travel required
Relevant industry experience (pumps, valves, system design, rotating equipment, etc.) desired
Ability to select a pump and/or accessories based on application requirements
5+ years of technical product experience without an engineering degree (Product Specialist)':
Ability to analyze a mechanical system and provide technical guidance for operation and troubleshooting
Overtime may be required.
The environment is primarily in a controlled climate office setting but will also require time on the manufacturing floor.
Physical requirements: Strength to lift or carry files weighing up to ten (10) pounds; vision to read printed materials and computer screen, and ability to hear and speech to communicate in person, telephone or over Teams.
