Intermediate and experienced aluminum and stainless steel TIG Fitter/Welders
Read and understand shop drawings
Fit and weld components in accordance with weld procedures accounting for weld shrinkage with minimal supervision
All fit-up and welds are inspected by in-house and/or customer CWI's
ABW administers in-house testing and certification
Fitter/welders will be evaluated on their ability to read and understand drawings, tolerances, and welding procedures
Swing shift: Work four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 4:30 pm - 2:00 am
Read and understand drawings
Can you pass a FCAW test in steel? (Yes or No)
Can you pass a 6G GTAW (TIG) test in Aluminum? (Yes or No)
Can you pass an open root stainless TIG weld test? (Yes or No)
Are you at least 18 years of age? (Yes or No)

1+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or related sectors like aerospace, automotive, construction, maritime, or military.
1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications.
1+ years of experience using hand tools and/or hand-held power tools.
Ability to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work from stairs/steps up to 8 hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twist frequently up to six hours per day; squat and kneel.
Ability to wear hearing protection (ear inserts, canal caps, earmuffs); eye protection.
Ability to use hazardous chemicals.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Pay : $24.32/hour, with potential to earn up to $53.30/hour in accordance with the terms of the relevant collective bargaining agreement.
