High School diploma or GED preferred
Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience required with knowledge and understanding of manufacturing principles such as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity
Minimum 1 year experience in a fiber optic manufacturing environment preferred
Proficient Hand-Eye Dexterity & Motor Skills for intricate/delicate work
Working knowledge of hand tools and blueprint reading preferred
Must be able to work with small parts in a clean room environment, using a microscope
Must have good time management skills to work on numerous projects (sometimes simultaneously)
Attention to Detail (following bill of material, job routers, and understanding drawings/prints)
Team Oriented - will work effectively and cohesively with other employees to achieve required objectives and goals
Credibility - takes responsibility for his/her own work. Respects confidential information and concerns shared by others
A safe and quality conscious attitude and follow safety and quality requirements
Must be able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
