Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical schematics and drawings.
The employee is frequently required to stand, climb, walk unassisted, bend, sit and reach with hands and arms.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting purposes.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to handle or lift objects up to 50 pounds, use tools or controls and communicate with other employees.
Minimum of 5 years of troubleshooting or related experience with heavy equipment.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Ability to read and interpret business documents, technical procedures, governmental regulations and professional journals.
General mechanical skills. Must be proficient working with hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic controlled circuits including PLC and CAN-bus systems.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
Training on heavy equipment and measurement tools, including flow meters, pressure gauges and voltage meters.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, suppliers and other NORDCO employees.
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to dust, oil, grease, fumes or airborne particles.
The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times and may require the use of hearing protection.
