Firsthand large industrial equipment assembly experience with ability partner with Sustaining Engineering in efforts to redesign/troubleshoot and validate product. Sufficiently cross trained on multiple assemblies.
Capability to comprehend and follow work instructions, build to blueprints, schematics or drawings with little to no supervision.

Daily interaction with Instron Business Systems (IFS, Agile, Testing Software).
Regular interactions with Engineering to aid in troubleshooting issues, updating work instructions, etc. Engaging with Purchasing and Quality when needed for part issues or non-conformities.
Minimum of an associate's degree or technical training certification.
At least three years of direct experience in a relevant field.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical components, and automated equipment is required.
Experience with large-scale mechanical structures and heavy equipment handling is required.
Familiarity with safety compliance documentation and procedures is required.
Reading, writing and conversing in English required
