Must possess a State of Florida driver's license
Meterman Journeyman or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering
Graduation from High school diploma/GED
Four years as a Meterman Journeyman
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Computer experience is necessary
Must display professionalism both in appearance and attitude
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agency personnel and the general public
Knowledge of basic electricity as applied to light and power, meter applications and AMI/AMR Systems
Must be thoroughly familiar with all types of meters and metering circuits of all electric service rendered by the Company
Knowledge of operating a computer as related to electric meters and meter monitoring equipment
Knowledge of safety practices relating to electricity
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to perform moderate to heavy work in an outdoor setting with exposure to loud noises, chemicals, debris, air and waterborne pathogens
Must complete FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) Certification Levels 100, 200, 700 and 800 within the first six months of employment
