Six (6) years of related experience, three (3) of which were in the maritime environment onboard naval ships, installing habitability spaces including berthing equipment, false ceilings, deck grating, joiner bhds and joiner doors
Must have experience using hand and power tools to include drills, air rivet guns, angle grinders and saws
Able to lift materials and tools up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Must be able to read blueprints and interpret them for installation
Must be able to drill, fasten and install sheet metal parts in accordance with drawing specifications
Must be able to weld structural steel, stainless steel members in support of various sheet metal installations
Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
Observe and comply with all safety and project rules and all company policies and procedures
Observes and complies with all safety and project rules and all company policies and procedures, ensure safety is a priority on the job during all activies , including using tools and installing all sheet-metel parts
