Seeking candidates with a High school diploma or GED, required;
Minimum one year experience welding and fabricating on heavy equipment with portable machines
General welding and fabrication using gas, stick, MIG and TIG welding.
Must be able to operate, drive and maneuver construction equipment to perform needed repairs.
Certificate of technical training and/or knowledge in welding and machinery
Self-starter able to work with limited supervision.
Must be able to work additional hours as needed to meet business and customer demands.
Proficient computer and mathematical skills.
Strong mechanical and design abilities; must be able to apply knowledge of parts, components and equipment.
Must have an excellent driving record.
Physical requirements must be met for the Welder job, including frequently sitting for extended periods of time.
The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
The employees must routinely lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
