Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering field and five (5) years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, models, drawings and technical specifications.
Extensive working knowledge of manufacturing practices in a diverse range of processes.
Understanding of GD&T; applications.
Extensive knowledge of process flows, material flow, assistive tooling devices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to apply problem solving tools and methodology to a variety of manufacturing and business process issues.
The employee may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

VTL Machinist - 3rd Shift

5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred)
Experience with Fanuc controls and making machine offsets
Ability to read and interpret CNC programs at the machine
Experience with precision measuring equipment
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Comfortable standing for extended periods and working on machine platforms
Read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, and operation sheets
Machine large parts ranging from approximately 30” to 70” in diameter
Work with hard metals including Inconel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel
Maintain tight tolerances in high-precision aerospace applications
Set up tooling and read tool sheets as required
Load/unload parts and fixtures using hoists and lifting equipment
Operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machines
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
