Valid driving experience with a strong safety record.
Dependable and flexible, with the ability to be on call and respond 24/7 as required.
Proven experience maneuvering, positioning, and setting heavy equipment.
Proficient in using material handling equipment such as forklifts, stair climbers, hand trucks, and related tools.
Pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, checking tires, lights, brakes, fluids, and other essential components.
Deliver and set in place commercial water heaters and related products.
Respond to after-hours calls within 15 minutes when on call (additional compensation provided).
Secure loads properly and verify the accuracy of shipping paperwork.
Maintain effective communication with the company during deliveries to receive any updates or instructions.
Maintain and monitor truck maintenance, keeping a safe driving record free of violations.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
Receive shipments and report inventory discrepancies or quality issues.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers.
Support warehouse operations when not actively delivering units.
On-call availability outside of normal business hours, including nights and weekends, with a 24/7 response expectation when scheduled on call.
