Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and hearing test.
Ability to pass a weld test to assess skills (Vertical-Up T-Joint welds, Flat V-Groove welds, various 14-gauge welds, etc.)
This role required lifting up to 35lbs and involves physical activity such as standing, reaching and crouching throughout the day.
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16".
Basic computer literacy.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

Requires correctable vision to within normal range to perform clean and uniform welds and read blueprints
Four years of shop or field welding
Ability to do math calculations, especially trigonometry
Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all the employer's safety policies and rules and must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel
High School education or GED preferred
Requires lifting, stooping, bending and stretching to accomplish grinding, welding and other assigned duties
Works in a typical fabrication shop environment
