Basic rhythm recognition competency within 6 months of hire
BLS required within 3 months of hire
One to three months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
1. Will be required to assist with lab draws as needed.
Ability to access, manage and update patient medical records through Hospital Electronic Medical Record Information System.
Maintains HIPAA rules, regulations and follows "Patients' Rights Policy" at all times.
Follows all applicable hospital policies and procedures.
Follows policies and procedures for infection control and facility safety in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Attends unit meetings and reads hospital e-mail.
Completes mandatory yearly education required.
May be assigned to monitor patients on a continual basis.
