2 year technical degree plus a minimum of 3 years' experience demonstrating a high mechanical aptitude or a minimum of 5 years' experience in applicable field.
Must have a working knowledge of the following skills: use of hand and power tools, plumbing/pipefitting, electrical work, carpentry work, blueprint reading, mathematics, and facility equipment operation.
Self-starter with a proven ability to successfully work with minimal supervision
Experience replacing HVAC components such as compressors, coils, controls, and heat exchangers.
Demonstrated expertise performing electro mechanical fluidic circuit troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and equipment modification.
