Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related Engineering field from an accredited institution.
1-5 Years (5+ preferred) in a Manufacturing/Engineering Environment.
Familiarity with welding of frequently used materials for Naval applications, such as CuNi, Monel, Stainless Steel, Nickel-Aluminum and other Bronzes etc.
Practical experience with GTAW, GTAW-HW, GMAW-P & PAW welding processes.
Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
Familiarity with ANSI drawing standards and geometric tolerancing
Knowledge of industry welding standards (e.g., AWS, ASME)
Ability to communicate clearly to peers, management, customers, and vendors. Robust written and verbal communication capabilities are both a must.
