Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations
The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
Sensory - Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure.
Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel.

We are seeking candidates with several years of dedicated echocardiography experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
We require strong, hands-on inpatient scanning experience, including the ability to perform studies in acute care environments.
Proficiency in valvular assessment with strong spectral Doppler and Pedoff skills.
Experience with contrast echocardiography and agitated saline studies.
Required Credentials: High School Diploma or GED.
Certifications: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or the alternative certification RCS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI))
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Shift & Scheduling: Either Sun-Thurs 10:30-6:30p or Tues-Sat 10:30-6:30p.
7 days maximum time off
2 references required
