With supervision, perform basic and routine assembly operations on components, and subassemblies in accordance with military, aerospace and or other assembly standards using visual aids and verbal written instructions.
Ability to Read & Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, Traveler/Routers, Bills of Material & Wire Lists
Check routers for errors
Able to perform clip loading, bonding, stripping, ink stamp, work with molding and rubber machinery
Perform wire cutting, braiding, making markers, and keying
Potting of cable subs and assemblies
Use cable assembling hand and power tools such as heat guns, hand crimpers, screw drivers etc.
Ensure work areas and kept clean and organized, free from FOD
Abide by DCX-CHOL Enterprises policies, training, and quality and safety practices.
Competent in the daily tasks to meet their job duties
Cable/Harness Assembly in Aerospace and Military Applications
Connector Assembly Experience in Commercial and Military Applications,
Soldering Experience per MIL-STD-2000, IPC-610, IPC-620 and/or J-Std-001-Class 3.
Ability to Read & Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, Traveler/Routers, Bills of Material & Wire Lists.
Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions and be detailed oriented.
Maintain a clean, safe well organized work-station through routine housekeeping.
Familiarity with continuous-improvement techniques.
Good eyesight and excellent finger dexterity
MIL-STD experience preferred
Normal work time spent indoors
A neat and tidy personal appearance must be maintained;
Repetitive hand movement
Occasional periods of high levels of physical exertion needed, this includes heavy lifting (50+ lb.), walking, bending, pushing large loads, carrying, stooping, reaching, etc.
