Ability to obtain good fusion line on shafts not being undercut prior to welding.
Weld in both a fixed position and on shafts rotating in chucks/positioners.
Light fabrication
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
2 years+ work experience in welding, fabrication, and assembly.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
Ability to operate cranes and other heavy machinery safely.
Proficient in using hand tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Has weld certificates.
Potential pay raise if employee passes a D14.1 weld cert. test after hire.
