Operations Coordinator

Maintain accountability for inventory, yard, and dock activities
Monitor emails continuously throughout the shift
Respond promptly and professionally to all operational requests
Ensure accurate information is shared with planning, leadership, maintenance, and operations
Escalate issues immediately when there is risk to production, shipping, or washing capacity
Maintain clear documentation of communications impacting operations
Forecast needs related to loads, shift requirements, wash assignments
Ensure there is enough inventory and capacity to ship for the full shift and wash for the full shift
Immediately notify Planning and the General Manager if forecasts indicate shortages or risks
Provide real-time updates to Planning on inventory availability and arrival expectations
Prevent unnecessary expenses by tracking what is already available versus what is needed
Understand and apply wash volume calculations
Review wash capacity against available inventory
Review wash plan with General Manager and communicate updates to Planning
Ensure wash plans are realistic and aligned with operational needs
Ensure all dock lights are fully functional
Keep dock doors clean and free of hazards
Verify all safety requirements are met
Notify Maintenance immediately at first sign of broken lights, malfunctioning dock doors, or safety issues
Perform regular yard checks throughout the shift
Maintain awareness of empty trailers available for drivers and loaded trailers pending unloading
Confirm all trailer drop-offs follow proper sign-in procedures
Address any unauthorized or undocumented drop-offs immediately
Pay: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour
