Must be able to machine, fabricate, and refurbish newly designed and replacement shipboard components
Utilizing templates and technical documentation, including ships' drawings
Must be competent in the use of mechanical equipment and tools in corrective repairs efforts to accomplish ship repairs
Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Confidential security clearance
Start date contingent upon approval of base access, which is required for this position and continued employment
Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States
