Leads NPI for the Supply Chain organization
Performs excess and obsolete (E&O;) analyses and coordinates with the appropriate functions to establish inventory reserve values and to initiate disposition of the material
6–10 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment
Supervises the planners and their daily activities related to sub-assemblies
Leads all planning activities for multiple business units
Pays attention to alignment of materials, capacity, and demand to ensure on-time delivery
Driving KPIs, resolving constraints, and partnering cross-functionally to keep execution on track
Ensures timely delivery of finished goods for sales orders
Release all finished good production orders
Establishes KPIs for each planner to measure their performance against company targets
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 6–10 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong experience with MRP-based planning systems
Trains planners and determines best practices for the stock room team
Manages a team of planners and sets their daily/weekly/monthly goals
Monitors, compares, and reports department performance and develops corrective action plans
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to analyze data and produce reports to support decision-making for production control
Responsible for releasing all finished good work orders
