High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Mechanical/Maintenance experience required
3 or more years in Production Operations experience is highly desirable in any of the following fields: Air separation or similar complex process control function; General maintenance of industrial equipment; Compressors and compressor maintenance; Industrial Mechanical; Industrial Electrical or Electrician; Instrumentation and control; Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC); Military technical fields: Engineers, Machinist Mates, Electrician Mates, Gas Turbine Technicians, Boiler Technicians and Nuclear technicians, among others
Must be able to perform a combination of office work and field work
This position requires On-Call status every 4th week
As determined by plant performance, occasional overtime, holiday, and after-hours work could be required
Ability to work extended hours occasionally for planned and unplanned plant outages
Must be able to manage confined space entry, climb ladders and steps, lift up to 50 lbs., and work at heights
Must be able to access elevated electrical and mechanical equipment scaffolding and man-lifts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop working relationships in a team environment with Linde operations, maintenance, and support personnel
