Inspector "A"
Inspects completed parts with a minimum of supervision to stated specifications and standards
Capable of performing the following dimensional inspections using the following methods:
Pin Gages j. Barrel Gages
Thread Gages k. Threaded Ring Gages
O.D. Micrometer l. Tri-Rolls
Depth Micrometers m. Dial Indicators
Blade Micrometers n. Optical Comparators
Flange Micrometer o. Recess gages
Spline Micrometer p. Taper Gages
Calipers q. Routers
Hex Gages r. Blue Prints
Capable of performing the following Chemical Testing methods:
Copper Sulfate Testing
Lead Acetate Testing
Capable of performing the following Physical Testing methods:
Hardness Testing
Solderibility Testing
Torque Testing
Records the incoming inspections as required by the work instructions
Moves orders after inspection functions are performed to the next appropriate location as designated on the router
Records results of each inspection of samples on proper forms
Has a good working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency using precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce accurate inspection results.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, blueprints, and GD&T; requirements.
Maintain accurate inspection records while following all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Operates and/or programs Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) preferred.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes and support corrective actions.
This position supports defense-related manufacturing and is subject to U.S. Export Control regulations (ITAR/EAR).
