Typically requires a Bachelors in engineering or a related technical field as well as nine or more years of progressively complex QA experience.
May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
Must demonstrate a detailed and extensive working knowledge and understanding of QA principles, concepts, theories, regulations and practices;
Extensive knowledge of ISO 9000 or similar quality system;
And leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines and milestones.
The ability to resolve technical and management issues;
Strong verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and present findings;
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees, management and outside representatives.
Strong working knowledge of MRP systems including SAP/PEO.
Previous QA experience and an intermediate level of knowledge in weld/fabrication production environment.
Basic understanding of Non-Destructive Testing requirements.
