5 years' experience of working with supplier quality assurance to be able to independently work and drive different initiatives, based upon knowledge of quality improvement tools (i.e. SPC, sampling plans, FMEA, Process capability, DOE, Gage R&R;) and working knowledge of ISO / PED /ASME standards

Competence with quality-related software tools and Microsoft Office applications.
Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Solid understanding of industrial processes and conventional quality assurance techniques.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
High school diploma required.
Visual acuity requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and arms, communicate clearly, and visually inspect parts.
Familiarity with industrial processes and standard quality control methodologies.
Minimum of 3 years of experience or formal training in a quality inspection or similar role.
Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment in a moderately noisy manufacturing environment.
Up to 3 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferably in a process-oriented or related industry.
Experienced machine shop inspector with hands-on experience using CMM and FARO arm for precision measurement and quality assurance.
