High school diploma and training/Certificate in Machine Shop or degree in engineering
Must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in Machine Shop and Tool and Die Making.
Must be able to use Mastercam, auto-cad (Inventor) and SolidWorks fluently
Must be able to use CAD/CAM software proficiently
Must have the ability to read blueprints, sketches, micrometers, calipers, gages optical comparators
Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine
Must be able to work with tolerances of +/- .0001
Experience with mechanical design for semi-automated production machines
Ability to work under strict timelines and work with the engineering department to create budgeted proposals for new machines or machine repairs.
Ability to work with coworkers of all levels across the company
Must be able to lift 50LBS
