Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
Experience in a cement industry required
Good use of Microsoft Office tools, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to quickly learn and master proprietary software associated with analytical equipment
Physical requirements: ability to sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours); climb stairs and ladders as high as 380 feet in elevation; ability to lift and carry 70lbs. up stairs; must be able to walk long distances, climb ladders, stairs, and stockpiles, stoop, and crawl under and into enclosed spaces
Walk on all types of surfaces (uneven and/or slippery ground)
Must be able to use proper Personal Protective Equipment as required
Ability to see and hear safety indicators and warnings
Must work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, wet, dry and/or dusty conditions and near hot kiln process
Will have exposure to all levels of noise that require the use of hearing protection
Exposure to cement, clay, limestone and various lab chemicals; see MSDS for more details
Ability to work in surroundings that include heat, dust, vibration, heights and confined spaces
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing

Schedule: Monday - Friday : 2pm-10pm
Pay Rate $18.50 per hour
Must be able to read and interpret directions on the job jackets and specification sheets
Must be able to complete all required paperwork and reports, including, but not limited to, run sheet, production report, QC sign-off form
Must be able to accurately maintain a record of production on run sheet
Must be able to perform all required quality inspections as required
Must be able to clean machine, surrounding area, and machine parts as required
Must be able to apply labels to cartons of finished product, checking for accuracy of information
Must be able to apply pallet tag (label) to finished skid
Must be able to comply with all work, quality, and safety regulations and procedures
Must be able to maintain a clean and safe work area
Must be able to work and communicate with others
