Six to twelve months experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to capture data and write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to accurately measure with a tape measure and square to 1/32\".
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Basic computer skills may be needed to retrieve computerized CAD drawings and other job information.
Ability to use BPCS system to enter and retrieve information.
Must be able to perform basic blueprint reading.
Familiarity with basic hand tools such as hand drills, wrenches, sockets screwdrivers.
Must be mechanically inclined and willing work overtime on an as-needed basis to maintain production deadlines.
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.
The employee is occasionally required to sit.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
