This foundation includes skill in interpreting technical data, data analysis, report writing, drawings, interpreting regulations and other guideline material and a practical understanding of the role of quality assurance. Requires a high school degree or its equivalent and normally possesses 5 years of experience in quality assurance principles or as a Technician.
Knowledgeable of the assurance of quality for all phases of the mission life-cycle including design, procurement, manufacturing, auditing, assembly, testing, and operations. Knowledgeable with the basic quality assurance procedures and techniques, pertinent regulations and program requirements and quality management systems. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
