Travel, including overnight travel, will be required for this position.
Experience utilizing process improvement and process capability techniques, within a commercial and defense metal fabrication environment.
Experience with manufacturing processes, inspection methodologies and various quality measuring equipment.
Knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action processes including 8D's.
Work requires the ability to review drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and contract requirements to ensure requirements and expectations are communicated and understood by the supplier.
Candidates should be familiar with both commercial and defense standards.
Work also requires the ability to read and comprehend complex diagrams, blue-prints, weld symbols, instructions, and short memos.
Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group settings is required.
The individual is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms.
The individual is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear.
The individual will frequently walk.
The individual must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 lbs.
Specific vision requirements such as color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
