BA/BS- in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
Must be able to travel 10-15% both domestically and internationally.
Commercial knowledge, contract law and T&C.; Experience managing Long Term Contracts and negotiating complex terms and conditions.
Strong Communication & interpersonal skills: Understand main mechanical manufacturing processes and be able to communicate basic mechanical topics with supplier and internal cross functions.
A minimum of 6-12 years of collective experience working in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Sourcing, Engineering or similar function in machinery industries.
Commodity & product knowledge: Individual must be able to quickly develop comprehensive understanding of each commodity, and subsequentially complex sourcing strategies.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Cost & risk management skills: Mature understanding of multiple aspects of supply chain value stream. Supplier financial risk evaluation & management. Supply Chain Risk evaluation & management.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Must be willing to learn and drive a change in a global environment, along with ability to influence through effective verbal and written communication skills.
