High school diploma or equivalent
Must be willing to work outside all year
Must develop a knowledge of the product you are dealing with and its hazardous properties
Understand the proper operation of conveyance equipment that is utilized in the shipping, receiving and transferring of grain and grain products and the associated safety systems of that equipment
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
Must be able to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, handle heights up to 40 feet, and work in all weather conditions
This is a full-time position
Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the peak work hours
From September until November hours will be 7am - 7pm
The employee must be available during the peak work hours
Must be an engaged member of a team and be willing to act and think independently
This position is expected to assist all areas of the unloading, loading and transferring of grain and grain products which may include but not be limited to barge, truck and rail operations
Must be able to work outdoors in an outdoor environment with exposure to grain dust and weather elements
