- Incoming Quality Inspector
- Inspect incoming materials, mechanical components, assemblies, and electronic parts to ensure they meet AS9100 quality standards.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, SmartScope, CMM, and other precision measurement tools.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and GD&T; requirements.
- Verify Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), material certifications, test reports, and supplier documentation for accuracy and traceability.
- Document inspection results and generate quality records to support compliance and audits.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials through the NCR process and partner with Quality, Engineering, and Purchasing teams on resolutions.
- Inspect electronic and soldered assemblies to J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards (if qualified).
- Maintain organized quarantine areas and support internal and external audits.
- Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or aerospace environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T;
