Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline with 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience or 7+ years of equivalent hands-on experience for non-degreed candidates.
Strong working knowledge of turning, milling, OD/ID grinding, surface grinding, and jig grinding processes.
Experience machining aerospace materials including carbon steels, stainless steels, carburizing and nitriding steels, and aluminum alloys.
Solid understanding of heat treatment, plating, non-destructive testing (NDT), and aerospace painting processes.
Proficiency in 3D modeling best practices and principles.
Advanced ability to interpret and create engineering drawings, including expert-level application of GD&T.;
Hands-on experience with inspection methods, tools, and best practices to ensure conformance and quality.
Proven experience using root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.) to drive corrective actions and improve yield on low-performing or non-conforming processes.
Travel up to 35%.

This on-site position is based in Torrance, CA (Los Angeles area).
