High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
2 years technical experience maintaining public pools
State of Minnesota Certified Pool Operators Certificate
Passing a pre-employment drug test
A background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license
Successfully completing a three-month introductory period
Employees in this position must maintain a Certified Pool Operator Certificate
Must handle chemicals and other pool maintenance-related materials
Must be able to walk and / or stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours
Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel and stoop
Must be able to reach and twist routinely
Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely
Must be able to climb a 8 ft. ladder
Must have the ability to independently lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
Must be able to navigate stairs routinely
Must have good eye hand coordination
Treasure Island guest service training
Bloodborne Pathogens training
Chemical and pool equipment training
Any training required to keep certificate up-to-date
Any position-related training as determined by department manager
Possessing sensitivity to Native American culture
