Proficiency in critical thinking, trouble shooting, and problem resolution
Advanced ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, work orders, instructions, and procedures
Understands equipment and work site set up and grounding
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, use of the Internet, email, iPad, and industry related programs
Maintain and safely operate company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order
Advanced knowledge of OSHA standards and guidelines for energized and de-energized working conditions
Must possess a valid driver's license and be fully insured according to South Carolina law
Maintain a driving record with less than 6 points
Ability to travel within Gregory Electric's territory when required
Proven ability to operate a vehicle safely and within legal and regulatory requirements

Experience with the precision alignment of motors, couplings, bearings, and pumps required
Experience troubleshooting issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors required
Experience reading blueprints required
Three (3) years or more of experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment required
Experience with fabrication, cutting with a torch, and welding with an arc welder required
Experience in a manufacturing environment required
Eligible to legally work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Willing and able to work a 12-hour rotating schedule which will include nights, weekends, and holidays
Willing and able to work on an emergency on-call basis as required
