5+ years relevant experience in Welding and fabricating of Stainless-Steel pipe for the Assembly of Rotating Equipment Packaging and testing.
Experience and trained in welding and cutting tools and processes.
Unless otherwise specified in contractual documents or engineering drawings, qualification of pipe WPSs and welding personnel shall conform to ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code. (GTAW P8 6G - must pass test)
Set up and operate manual lathes to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications.
Operate manual end mills to perform milling, drilling, tapping, and other machining operations.
Weld: tack and certify mechanical welding as required.
Review , Interpret complex Assembly instructions, drawings and schematics, specs and blueprints.
Work and operate cutting rigs, welding machinery and measuring tools.
Able to use and understand computers.
Tage all equipment needed for assembly and safely offload incoming parts off transport using proper lifting/ rigging equipment and technical questions
Inspects repairs, replaces, installs, and maintains all mechanical components, assemblies on gas turbines and compressor associated packages.
