Must have a minimum of 1 - 3 yrs of experience with proficiency in the welding field.
Must have related experience in operation of welding equipment available in fabrication department.
Experience using a cutting torch, and plasma torch.
Must be familiar with SMAW and GMAW welding processes, competent reading, and interpretation of fabrication blueprints.
Experience with lay out and fit up of weldments and/or inspection of weldments.
Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Word, Excel and other necessary applications.
Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and medical examinations screenings.
Ability to lift weights up to 50lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, reach and perform repetitive motions for up to 12 hours daily.
Tolerance to work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, and exposure to welding fumes.
Must be able to maintain proper organization on documentation and work areas, follow all company policies and safety measures.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently.
Ability to adapt and be cross trained to learn all job duties.
Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.

Basic oral communication skills; ability to read and understand written instructions in English and complete basic logs and reports in English.
Physically able to lift, push, pull, and position heavy components as required.
Ability to work scheduled hours and adhere to company timekeeping and all other policies.
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to report to work daily to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
