High school diploma or equivalent
2-4 years of recent and relevant work history
Successful previous experience working in a logistics or shipping/receiving work environment
Previous experience safely operating forklifts and other shop equipment
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
A high level of attention to detail in juggling multiple duties/responsibilities
Must have the ability to work in warehouse/shop environment
Experience, willingness, and ability to work in shop environment and to work various shifts on various days as required, including having a flexible work schedule to perform auditing and training on various shifts
The ability to maintain reliable and predictable attendance
A high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal
Standing for long periods of time.
Walking on hard and sometimes uneven surfaces throughout the day.
Walking up and down stairs.
Climbing on/off of locomotives and fitting into small or tight spaces if/when needed.
Wearing all required personal protective gear (hardhat, steel toe boots, ear plugs, eye protection) throughout the day.
Typing and operating computer equipment.
Working overnight shifts and multiple days in a row, as required.
