Physical Therapist
Current State license (or eligible for license) as a Physical Therapist.
One to two years progressively responsible related experience
To gain a thorough knowledge of physical therapy techniques
To delegate care efficiently and effectively
To provide patient care coverage in most of the department's clinical areas
To train and orient students, volunteers, and new employees
The Physical Therapist is required to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served on their assigned unit(s).
This requires that the incumbent demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development as well as the physical, emotional, and psycho-social needs of the patient population served.
Work requires a profession level of knowledge of anatomy and physiology and physical therapy treatments and modalities at a level normally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
