Knowledge of ultrasound diagnostic procedures in order to perform ultrasonic procedures as directed by a physician

Fetal Nuchal Translucency through the Nuchal Translucency Quality Review (NTQR). If the NT was not obtained through the NTQR, employee has one (1) year from the date of hire to convert to the NTQR credentialing. If previously held certification lapses, employee has three months post expiration to renew license; during this time employee is only allowed to scan applicable exams with a certified NT or NB preceptor.
Fetal Echocardiography (FE) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) within two years of hire. Exam must be taken within two years of hire date. If results are not available at two-year mark due to ARDMS, results waiting period, employee is allowed to work until results become available.
