2-3 years' experience operating a Burn Table (plasma, Hyper-Therm 260XD), in a manufacturing environment, with experience operating an overhead crane preferred
Technical knowledge and ability to properly set up and operate the machine, conveyors, transfer tables and machine for a variety of plate steel products
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Ability to correctly read and understand work orders and/or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs
Ability to effectively use basic computer applications
Demonstrate intermediate math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Ability to safely meet or exceed minimum productivity levels established by the Company
Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities independent of direct supervision, work alone and in a team environment
Develop a good working knowledge of material and inventory control techniques and procedures
Ability to maintain ongoing inter-department communications related to routing, safety, and customer relations
