Four years of professional nursing experience
Peritoneal Dialysis experience within the last 2 years prior to hire
Familiar with CMS and Texas Administrative Codes regarding ESRD and Dialysis regulations
Current, valid RN license or temporary RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing, or valid Compact RN license
Current healthcare provider CPR course completion card from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network
Certification in Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN)
Must maintain an instructor status in ACLS or TNCC or ATCN and become an instructor in ATCN or TNCC within one year of hire or placement in the role
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
SAMA certification, levels 1-4 before first clinical orientation shift and no later than 30 days upon hire or placement in the role
Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR)
Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) Instructor Certification within 18 months of hire or placement in the role
