Expertise in 2D and 3D CAD systems (SolidWorks required).
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive motions, including bending and squatting, may occasionally be required.
Proficient in reading and interpreting work orders, schematics, technical procedures, and production documentation, including blueprints.
Hands-on personality with strong safety awareness.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
Proven ability to build peer relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, or a related field (ASEE or ASME preferred).
Strong knowledge of electrical-mechanical systems and modern manufacturing processes.
Some walking and standing may be required, particularly when interacting with Manufacturing Department personnel.
Ability to ensure documentation compliance with military and industrial standards.
Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
The job requires sitting at a desk performing normal office work, including phone communications and computer use.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical/mechanical design and drafting, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
