High school diploma or GED
2-3 years of manufacturing experience
Certified Inspector/Operator
Ability to use a wide range of measuring devices (calipers, optical comparator, electronic equipment, etc.)
Ability to work effectively with others
Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgment, and exhibit a high-level of integrity
High-level of visual awareness
Experience drafting reports and collecting data
Extensive computer knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, customer portals, Enovia, Omnex, etc.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical information
Must be able to write procedures and revise existing procedures
Internal auditing experience is helpful
Involvement with customer audits and AS9100 quality system
Learn all jobs in area including lab, calibration, and receiving transactions
Work with customer returns in ATR system
Support Zero Defect Lighthouse project on production floor
Communicate with customers via email and in person visits
Ability to document PPAP supporting documents
Ability to conduct certified operator training classes
Actively participate and support the plant's safety program. Report any injury or near miss immediately to your Group Lead or EHS Manager. Report all unsafe conditions immediately to a Group Lead, Value Stream Manager or EHS Manager.
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area. Keep all walkways and aisle free of any debris or clutter. Maintain 5S standards by returning tools to shadow boards. Sweep floor and finishing area as needed.
Daily attendance is a requirement of the job, as is arriving on time. Overtime is expected when customer demand dictates the need.
