Test and pass NAS 410 Level II certification in house.
Set up and operate industrial x-ray equipment. Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard.
Record test results, findings and dispositions manually or with the aid of a computer or computer based system.
Able to pass vision test requirements.
Previously certification as an X-ray Level 2 to specification ASNT or NAS410.
Perform X-ray level 2 tasks in accordance to work instructions from approved general procedures & techniques.
Coordinate recurring defects with concerned with supervisor and quality engineer personnel, and if required recommend corrective action measures.
Detect and identify indications affecting quality and safety factors such as cracks, inclusions, cavities, undercuts, incomplete fusion and porosity, etc.
Read and interpret information from work instruction documents, drawings and specifications, inspection procedures, material review reports and other source documents, and follow instructions the procedures and requirements needed to perform radiographic inspection of material, parts and weldments.
High School Diploma or GED.
A minimum of 800 hours experience in industrial X-ray experience inspecting aerospace components.
Determine and disposition (accept or reject) items based on NDT results.
