CNMT: Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) - OR -
T.(N)(ARRT): Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists);
Maintains active: Nuclear Medicine Technologist License with IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency);
CPR certification.
Knowledge of federal and state regulations applicable to Nuclear Medicine.
Knowledge of radiation protection and safety.
Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand 80% of the day.
The employee will frequently be required to lift, push or pull weight of 5 to 75 pounds.
Ability to assist average sized person (150 pounds) to and from exam table, etc., in normal course of work. Upon occasion must be able to support average person for approximately two minutes.
Ability to attend to visual details.
Ability to make precise arm/hand positions movements where strength and speed are minimized.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Ability to receive and comprehend written and oral communications.
