Minimum of High School or GED required.
Successful completion of a Surgical Tech or Sterile Processing Tech training program.
Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from CBSPD Program OR Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
OR Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience in a sterile processing department and obtaining CSPDT or CRCST within one year of hire.
Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
