Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
Preferably Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
At least three (3) to five (5) years of applicable design experience
Must display a genuine respect and knowledge for workload and issues facing manufacturing operations and shop floor members
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Works as a key member of cross functional teams & must display a can-do attitude that sets an example for others
Strong mechanical and math skills and ability to formulate ideas and create design solutions for internal and external customer needs
Must be able to develop realistic project timelines and work independently to accomplish results on time
Project management skills to oversee a project through idea, design, manufacturing, and implementation stages
Proficient use of CAD software
Competent use of Microsoft Office suite software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Some travel may be necessary to support project responsibilities
