The Mechanical Assembler I supports the assembly and production of high-quality mechanical and electrical components used in data center infrastructure systems.
This entry-level role follows established work instructions, uses basic tools
Reading and following standardized work instructions, drawings, and quality guidelines
Basic wiring tasks under guidance (routing cables, attaching connectors, securing harnesses)
Inspecting completed assemblies for accuracy, alignment, and workmanship
Labeling, packaging, or staging completed work for downstream processes
Reporting defects, material shortages, or equipment issues
Maintaining a clean and safe workstation following 5S principles
Commitment to safe work practices
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift
Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 35-50 lbs occasionally throughout the shift
Frequent bending, reaching, crouching, and repetitive hand motions
Ability to grip and operate hand tools (screwdrivers, drills, ratchets, crimpers, etc.)
Ability to distinguish color-coded wires or labels (if applicable to the build)
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with moderate noise
Ability to walk, push carts, and move materials within the department
Previous experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or electrical assembly (preferred, but listed under Preferred Skills)
