High School Diploma or equivalent
Current AWS certifications: D1.1 and D1.2 (verification required)
5+ years of professional welding experience in a production, fabrication, or industrial environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
Proficiency using standard measuring tools (tape, calipers, squares) and performing fit-up
Strong understanding of welding quality standards and ability to work to requirements
Operate welding equipment, cutting torches, plasma cutters and various electric and pneumatic hand tools associated with repair and fabrication of mechanical components and assemblies. Work with various types of engineering materials such as ferrous and non-ferrous metal alloys (i.e. aluminum, steels, brass)
Willingness and ability to comply with all facility safety rules and quality procedures
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required
